Safety Gear Information

All Participants are required to wear safety gear with no exceptions. Visitors are required to wear close toed shoes to participate and are asked to wear them to their booking (flats, Crocs, heels, or any other shoe that has toe covering but exposed top foot or heel are NOT a permitted shoe). The remains safety gear will be provided. It will include gloves, face/eye protection, and a body suit covering that goes over visitors clothing. We have a few different options in our gear to fit different comfort preferences. Visitors are allowed to bring their own safety gear if they wish so long as it is approved by staff (we are not responsible for any damage personal safety gear or clothing may incur while participating in the rage room). Our sizes cover most standard S-XXL sizes…If you or someone in your group is under 5’0 / over 6’5 tall or over 300 pounds we encourage visitors to come prior to booking to see if safety gear will fit properly or bring their own they know will fit safely. We will NOT issue same day refunds for gear that is unable to fit. If any safety gear is broken or becomes broken stop smashing immediately and notify a staff member so they may swap it out.

A staff member must verify all safety gear is property fitted before entering the Rage Room. Removing safety gear after session has begun is grounds for removal from session. If you need to adjust/remove safety gear during session stop all smashing and exit the rage room to do so.

Prohibited Items

CRT TVs/Monitors, microwaves, thermometers, animals/taxidermy/plants , any high voltage items that poses capacitor shock (even after being unplugged), batteries, smoke alarms, light bulbs, food items, any item that has hazardous materials, any item that has liquid, any item that is pressurized, flammable, or poses explosion risk, any items that may have gas released when punctured (ex: compressors, aerosol cans, etc), items that have mold, mildew, or other liquid damage, guns or bullets, needles or other medical supplies, drug paraphernalia, any containers that held chemicals/hazardous materials (ex: gas cans) . BRR can refuse any item they deem unsafe for the rage room.

Refund, Reschedule, & Cancelation Policy

Any cancelations or reschedules needs to be no later than 24 hours before session in order to receive a full refund.

Cancelations refunds within 24 hours will be subject to a 25% fee of their booking cost

Cancelations made within 5 hours of their start time will receive NO refund

Reschedules under 24 hours from booking time get ONE free reschedule

Reschedules made within 5 hours of their start time will be subject to a reschedule fee 25%

Other reasons such as running late, not showing up, having group members not show up, not filling out waivers, being intoxicated, unable or unwilling to wear safety gear, not following staff rules etc are NOT grounds for a refund.

In cases of extreme weather (tornado, flooding, freeze/snow) a credit will be issued

Late Policy

If you believe you are running late make sure to CALL staff to let them know your ETA

Calling is not a guarantee that your spot will not be lost, subject to cancelation, or a 25% reschedule fee but depending on the schedule availability staff will try to work with each situation best we can

If you are more than 15 minutes late (without staff approval) that is considered a cancelation & you will lose your spot in line there will be no reschedule or refund option at this point

If you show up late you will not be given extra time

Rage Room Breaking Rules

AGE REQUIREMENT FOR THE RAGE ROOM IS 13+

Safety is paramount, and we want to do everything we can to make sure everyone who participates can have fun safely.

-Do NOT smash/throw items toward the direction someone is standing or toward the door/back wall/ceiling

-Watch your surroundings and be mindful of where you & others in your group are before breaking anything

-If debris starts to accumulate on the floor use the broom in each room to sweep it away to avoid a slipping hazard

-Inspect every breaking tool before use

-Before or during a session if a tool appears to be damaged or weakened stop use immediately and notify a staff member

-If any safety gear comes off stop all breaking immediately until it is properly put back on

-if any safety gear becomes damaged during a session stop all breaking immediately, & notify a staff member to have it replaced

-Only throw at / hit toward the target wall

-Do not lean against ANY of the walls

-Photos and videos are allowed ( use at own risk we are not responsible for any damage to personal property)

-Do not break any items outside the smash lines

-Only 4 at a time allowed inside the smash lines to break

-No breaking when the door is open

-Do not remove any safety gear inside the rage room

-When done smashing inspect yourself and others for any debris tracking before exiting

-When exiting the rage room take all safety gear off carefully and put it in the designated hamper 

-When exiting and changing out of safety gear beware of debris (such as broken glass) on the safety gear or floor….use caution around exposed skin, feet, eyes and mouth

-Do not throw break tools (hammers, bats etc) 

-Do not stand on the tables

-No writing/drawing profanity, curse words, suggestive content on the walls

-Do not purposely try to break the rage room fixtures (tables, walls, lights, building, speakers, tools, or anything that is not a breakable item provided) Doing so will result in a fine for the damage, removal, ban, and possibly other criminal charges 

-Put ALL used safety gear in the hampers when done with session (be careful for broken glass and debris when removing) 

-If you hear a knock on the door stop smashing immediately 

-If you believe you may have been inured or cut stop breaking immediately and notify staff for inspection

-A staff member may end a session anytime if any rules are not being followed, there will be NO refund in the case of early removal

-Only throw items at the target wall with all parties (including the thrower) are standing at least half way back in the room to avoid ricochet

-Do NOT throw or toss items that have already been broken/have sharp edges  

You are NOT allowed to participate if:   

You have not read and signed a waiver | You break any of the rules and guidelines before or during a session | Under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance that alters cognitive / motor skills |  Any one who is pregnant or believes they may be pregnant | Do not follow staff member’s instruction

Any argumentative/combative/harassing behavior to a staff member or another visitor is instant grounds for ending of a session, removal from the property, and may result in a lifetime ban….This is a zero tolerance policy and any unruly behavior will result in the Birmingham Police being called

Splatter Room Rules & Information

The Splatter Room safety requirements are that guests be wearing goggles & shoes (open toe are okay).

Guests will be provided with optional hair nets, ponchos, shoe covers, & gloves.

Guests may listen to their own music on a provided speaker.

Guest may also paint/splatter the walls.

Any Guest who leave any profanity on the walls will be charged the cost of replacement and permanently banned.

Minors must have a parent/guardian present in the building to participate but they do not have to be in the splatter room with them

The splatter room has a waiting area outside for guests who are not participating

Outdoor games Rules & Information

Nerf/Water wars & archery tag require eye protection

No throwing nerf/water guns, archery arrows, or using any other protect how it was not intended

Game rules are set by each group for how they would like to play, staff is happy to suggest some fun games to try

Shoes are required

Field has rubber crumb (small black pellets in the turf to keep it firm & soft) crumb will get in shoes

Crumb can sometimes pile up, no playing with or throwing crumb

Do not dive/slide onto turf

Keep all contents of games within the fence (any purposeful ejection of equipment off site/to the roof will warrant removal from activities)

No malicious contact (any contact (tackle, push/shove, close range nerf, water,archery shot/ball throw) that is seen to purposely cause harm will warrant removal from activities)

No destruction of equipment (Anyone seen misusing any equipment in a way that would harm/break it will be removed & banned)

No climbing on bunkers/fence others then those designated to do so

If there is lightning/thunder, tornado sirens or any other dangerous weather stop all activity and come inside immediately

extra protection or game equipment is allowed (ex: knee/elbow pads, gloves, soft cleats, braces, vests, etc)

Guests are allowed to bring own equipment: nerf guns, dodge balls, water guns etc (we have plenty of standard nerf amo) (we are not responsible for any damage to any items one brings)

If guests want bring foam ball blasters they may, but we do not currently provide those in our lineup or amp for them

All current Nerf guns are pump powered (no battery powered)
